This week, ICS President Julie Myers Wood addressed the Society for Human Resource Management’s (SHRM) 2010 Employment Law and Legislative Conference in Washington, DC.
Ms. Wood provided participants with practical guidance on how to combat identity fraud in their workforce, and provided suggestions to address common problems employers face in this area. She addressed ICE's current worksite enforcement strategy, and the current status of immigration reform. Her talk also addressed the vulnerabilities associated with contingent staffing, giving guidance on how HR managers could successfully integrate a contingent staffing model and mitigate immigration compliance risks.
